Kamali Kulture LBD

There's always room in my closet for another easy, breezy  Kamali Kulture dress. (Literally - I just moved, my new closet, a walk-in, is still more than half emty - what?! But I digress...) My first Kamali Kulture dress was a super-fitted black number, with lace sleeves and about a foot of lace at the bottom. Tres sexy. I wore it to meetings - I like to fancy myself a young Jessica Pearson, when I'm not in full writer regalia (yoga pants).

But neither Kamali nor I are one trick ponies; this newest frock is sexy in a whole new way. With sheer cut-outs that offer up a peek of upper-abdomen and a flash of collarbone as well, the dress plays coy but follows the cardinal rule of Class-Not-Trash but teasing one body part but concealing the rest. It was either my mom or someone from Gossip Girl who said something to the effect of "If you're wearing something low-cut up top, go for a longer hemline on bottom and vice versa." This piece does just that, by teasing glimpses of skin but keeping it classy with a full skirt that falls in the most perfect pleats like only Kamali's signature jersey knits can.
