Channeling Margot Tenenbaum In This Off-Duty LOFT Look
Every year (admittedly, usually closer to October 31) thousands of Wes Anderson groupies don a slick sideswept bang and their mother's fur in homage to the impossibly stylish and famously secretive Margot Tenenbaum.
But mink and maryjanes aside, Margot was also a master of sporty-chic well before wearing sneakers to a fashion show was considered revolutionary. In her signature shirtdress and flats, she always looked ready for a round of tennis.
I channeled her style for this quintessentially Spring look from LOFT - a crisp white shirtdress and an equally crisp army jacket in olive. A flowery fabric headband added just a tiny bit of color to the otherwise muted palette, which also included a gray belt and matching sneakers.
