Grecian in Palm Beach: Parker Dress at The Breakers
Back at it again at The Breakers in Palm Beach, this time in a Grecian-inspired Parker party dress, one of my favorite labels for fete-worthy frocks. I love the bright pops of the blue embroidery, and the silhouette is tres fun and easy-breezy. I bought this one on sale at Bloomingdales in the dead of winter, imagining myself back under the Palm Beach County sun, brunching on Worth Ave and running around The Breakers causing a ruckus. (Cut to The Bostonista and I in an old-fashioned chase scene with the groundskeepers in hot pursuit, to the tune of a Looney Tunes uptempo piano rhythm. Only part of that actually happened.)
Ok, so clearly I have an active imagination, which is why I didn't stop at the Grecian dress; I paired it with a gold leaf hair crown from ASOS and blue suede block heels from Nordstrom. The only difference between this and a Greek Princess costume is the fact that I wore this to brunch with a woke-up-like-dis attitude. That's literally it.
