Weekend T-Shirt

I rocked Lobo Mau's fierce Cotton T-Shirt with drawstring joggers, gold Calaxini sandals, and my trusty Reed Krakoff Micro Boxer bag for a weekend look that is basically the equivalent of wearing my pajamas out for brunch and shopping, minus the sad looks from strangers.

Indie designer Nicole Haddad named her brand Lobo Mau, which translates to "Bad Wolf" (as in, "who's afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?) in Portuguese. Her logo, a wolf in mid-roar, makes an appearance in her collections each season, usually in the form of ultra-wearable separates like this tee and last season, a raglan-sleeved sweatshirt.

Lobo Mau and its ferocious mascot are becoming something of a cult symbol in Haddad's native Philadelphia, and with fans as far away as Cali and Brazil, I anticipate that the wolf will reach icon status soon - glad I snapped this tee up while I could!

STYLING TIP: I find that giving a fitted t-shirt a quick tuck can kick it up a notch. (But that could just be the private school girl in me talking.) And, even though I opted for flats, the light-ish, metallic gold elongates my legs and highlight my ankles more than a darker shoe would.

In other news, this was my last outfit post in Boston (well, at least as a Boston resident -- I'm sure I'll be back for a visit soon) so the next time I post an outfit it will be from hot, sunny, HOT Florida.
