Tobi Wrap Maxi Dress

Tobi Wrap Maxi Dress

When I picked out this olive green dress on the Tobi website (PSA: 50% off most of the site for first time shoppers), I immediately knew I wanted it for beach-to-brunch double duty. I don't always hit the beach, you see, but when I do, I prefer to rock a perfectly drapey dress over my bikini. (Tobi Dress)

It's still too cold in Boston for any real beach trips, so in the meantime, I took this dress out for a non-salty test drive in Beantown, belted and with heels. Not for nothing, but I'm giving myself major Kardashian vibes here, and a quick scientific method shows that the following formula is viable in most human animals:

Curve-hugging silhouette
+ Waist and bum accentuating belt
+ Balmain-y camo color palette
= Kanye-era Kim K

Amiright?

ALSO: YSL belt, vintage; Rebecca Minkoff bag at Crush Boutique in Boston, B.P. suede sandals, Nordstrom (similar).

Since I'm not totally drinking the monokrome Kardashian Kool-aid, I opted for a few pops of color, by way of bright blue suede sandals and the Sofia clutch by Rebecca Minkoff, tastefully tasseled and sizable enough for bloggerina essentials like new fisheye lenses for my iPhone and eleventy shades of lipstick.
