Patchology Gel Eye Patches Are A Must For Weekend Warriors
Paris Paris Sweatshirt, ElevenParis (similar here), GapFit gFast Animal Stripe Leggings in Lava Orange, $65 (on sale for $46!), Patchology FlashPatch Eye Gels, $50, provided c/o.
My new Sunday afternoon ritual involves eating my weight in waffles, reading cheesy memoirs (sorry, Lena Dunham!) and recouping my skin after perhaps too much weekend fun, with any Patchology products I can get my hands on.
Because staying hydrated doesn't just mean chugging a Gatorade the next morning, I've started using Patchology's FlashPatch eye gels a couple times a week to pack in the hydration— I'll rock one on Sundays, and then again mid-week for a quick pick me up, although you can use them daily.
Sold in a set of 30 ($50) and tucked neatly inside a beautiful turquoise mirrored jar that itself is majorly soothing, these babies don't skimp on skin-saving ingredients like caffeine (yes please), collagen, and yeast amino acids, an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant.
Smooth them in place with the tiny curved spoon that comes with each set — bonus points: this feels like a super-cooling massage - they're instantly cooling, pleasantly gummy, and ever-so-slightly glittery when you hold it up to the light — a solid way to wean myself off of the glamour of a Saturday night well spent.
I'm also a fan of the FlashMasques, which come in the form of facial sheets — you know, the kind that can supermodels turn to before big runway shows and shoots.
DO: Use one once a week. The exfoliating masque is a dream, and it works, honey. Illuminate is perfect for party prep, and hydrate is great for the morning after.
DON'T: Walk up to anyone in your apartment without warning them loudly that you're approaching and that you're wearing a facial sheet. Just trust me.
